Arshed - this is how his friends describe him: "Sorry, we don't know him!"
Arshed has aspiration for a comfortable present, and not-so-uncomfortable future, for himself as well as for others. 'The Others' are all others, literally and metaphorically.
Arshed is currently pursuing his PhD (Civil Society in Pakistan: Role of International Donors) alongside a couple of other, more tempting concerns.
Earlier he studied Development Management from London School of Economics (98-99); Development studies from IDEAS (Institute of Development Economies' Advanced School), Tokyo (97-98); International Relations from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad (M.Phil: 92; MSc: 87), and BA from Burewala.
He has worked with British Council, ActionAid, Government of Pakistan, and in as journalist in Frontier Post (89), Pakistan Observer (88) & Pukar (86).
In his non-remunerated and volunteer career he has done a few awful things such as civil society activism, creative writing, athletics, random chases, endless dreaming et al. He unashamedly thinks great about these unsuccessful endeavours.
If you are still curious about his works and non works, hit here.
